deschedule.earth Heads to FreedomFest 2026: Building a National Conversation on Federal Cannabis Descheduling
This week, the deschedule.earth team is heading to FreedomFest 2026 at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas with one mission:
Advance the conversation on federal cannabis descheduling through evidence, public participation, and citizen action.
FreedomFest brings together thousands of entrepreneurs, policy experts, investors, veterans, educators, and advocates who believe in individual liberty and practical solutions. It’s exactly the kind of environment where meaningful conversations about federal cannabis policy can happen.
We’re excited to meet attendees, share what we’re building, and invite more people to become part of a growing national movement focused on one objective: removing cannabis from the federal Controlled Substances Act.
Why We’re at FreedomFest
For decades, cannabis policy has been debated from every angle. While many states have chosen to legalize cannabis in some form, federal law continues to create uncertainty for millions of Americans.
Federal prohibition still affects:
- Banking and financial services
- Medical research
- Interstate commerce
- Veterans
- Criminal justice
- Agriculture
- Medical access
- Small businesses and entrepreneurs
At deschedule.earth, we believe lasting reform requires federal action supported by informed citizens.
FreedomFest provides an opportunity to engage directly with people who value constitutional government, evidence-based policy, and individual liberty principles that align closely with our mission.
Stop By Our Booth
We’ll be sharing several initiatives designed to make federal cannabis reform more transparent, accessible, and citizen-driven.
Learn Who We Are
deschedule.earth is a decentralized advocacy network focused exclusively on federal cannabis descheduling.
Rather than operating as a traditional membership organization, we’re building a hub-and-spoke network that connects citizens, veterans, researchers, attorneys, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, growers, and advocates who want to contribute their skills toward a common goal.
Everyone has something to contribute.
Explore What We’re Building
Visitors to our booth will learn about several active projects.
Digital Witness Project
Public testimony shouldn’t disappear once a hearing ends.
Our Digital Witness Project creates a permanent platform where individuals can preserve their stories, experiences, and testimony regarding federal cannabis policy. Participants can create a profile, record a short interview, and contribute to a growing public archive documenting the real-world effects of prohibition.
Food First Initiative (FFI)
Industrial hemp has enormous potential beyond traditional markets.
Through our Food First Initiative, we’re researching hemp’s nutritional value, including its protein, amino acid, vitamin, and mineral profile. By supporting evidence-based research, we hope to advance discussions around food security, agriculture, and home cultivation.
Congress Floor Vote Campaign
One of our newest initiatives asks a simple question:
Where do your elected officials actually stand before they vote?
Our Congress Floor Vote Tracker is reaching every U.S. Senator with two direct questions regarding federal cannabis descheduling.
Rather than relying on assumptions or campaign rhetoric, we’re creating a transparent public record that allows citizens to see how lawmakers respond before critical legislation reaches the Senate floor.
The campaign also provides every senator’s public contact information, mailing address, email, web forms, and communication tools, making it easier for citizens to engage directly with their elected officials.
Citizen Action Still Matters
Federal reform doesn’t happen because people assume someone else is handling it.
Meaningful policy change happens when informed citizens participate.
Throughout FreedomFest, we’ll be encouraging attendees to:
- Contact their U.S. Senators
- Engage congressional candidates
- Participate in coordinated advocacy efforts
- Follow the Congress Floor Vote Campaign
- Share their own experiences through the Digital Witness Project
Whether you’re new to cannabis policy or have spent years following federal reform, your voice can help shape the conversation.
More Than an Expo Booth
For us, FreedomFest isn’t simply another event on the calendar.
It’s an opportunity to introduce deschedule.earth to thousands of people who believe government should be accountable, transparent, and responsive to the people it serves.
Every conversation has the potential to create another advocate, researcher, volunteer, or community leader who helps move federal reform forward.
If you’re attending FreedomFest this week, we invite you to stop by our booth, ask questions, explore our projects, and discover how you can become part of a nationwide effort focused on evidence, transparency, and meaningful citizen engagement.
Together, we can build a stronger public record, encourage accountability, and continue advancing the conversation around federal cannabis descheduling.
One Plant. One People. One Future.
We look forward to meeting you in Las Vegas.
